Participated in organizing a major photography exhibit of Kiowa Indian
Culture: War bonnets, Tin Lizzies and Patent Leather Pumps: Kiowa Culture
in Transition, 1925-1955. Assisted in the design and development of
the exhibit of Horace Poolaw's work, which included printing large format
negatives, selecting photographs to exhibit and participating in ethnographic
research in Anadarko, Oklahoma. (The exhibit toured US and Europe with
the American Federation of the Arts and inaugurated the opening of the
Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC.)
